Rainbow Mountain Full Day
DESCRIPTION:
Ausangate is the fifth highest mountain in Peru, with its 6,384 meters of height for centuries it has received many names; “The Roof of the Inca Capital”, “Vinicunca” (Hill of Colors), etc. Guardian of the Cusco region, located in the district of Pitumarca, province of Canchis, Cusco region, in southern Peru; Ausangate is considered the most important mountain of the Andean cosmovision.
Pick up from your hotel will be at 03:00 hrs. at 03:20 hrs. the trip will be about 3 hours to the town of Pitumarka, in this place they will have their breakfast, culminated this we will continue the trip to the town of Chilca, from this point our adventure will begin, the walk will be between 3 to 4 hours where we will appreciate beautiful landscapes full of streams, mountains, lagoons, snowed in addition to flora and fauna, after this time we will arrive at our long-awaited destination Vinicunca or Cerro de Colores having an adequate time to capture this magical place in photographs and in our memories, in addition to this place we can also appreciate the Apu Ausangate, snow-capped most revered by the Incas. After living this magical experience we will descend again to Chilca where we will have lunch, finally we will return to the city of Cusco arriving at the Plaza Regocijo at approximately 6:30 p.m.
